I CREATE ORGANIC SENSUAL ARTWORK INSPIRED BY NATURE & TRAVEL.

Influenced by impressions of the sea in Mallorca in all seasons, local walks in Germany and moments spent in the garden, prints & paintings are never derived directly from photographed images, but rather intuitive & abstracted. 

I am an artist and textile designer born in Gdansk, Poland, who in 2020, after nearly two decades in London, relocated to Düsseldorf, Germany. I studied Textiles Print at the Royal College of Art and University of the Arts London.

My design work featured in collections of many fashion brands including Eudon Choi, Tommy Zhong, Jigsaw, Coast & Anthropologie. After many comments from clients, I embraced the idea for my work to live independently of fashion design restrictions and embarked on a new creative journey.

My practice focuses on discovering new ways of using print & painting techniques to create beautiful, sensual compositions inspired by nature, my immediate surroundings and impressions from travels. I combine textile & fine art materials, layer and mix them up: sometimes in a controlled way or embracing serendipitous results. I'm painting the marks, erasing them and then adding more colour. The processes of watercolour, cyanotype & screen-printing, often using found materials produce beautiful, unique results.

The experience of many years spent in the studio and print rooms, sharing knowledge with other practitioners, gives me the freedom to work confidently and spontaneously exploring the alchemy of how dyes and pigments interact.
